In Pre-school we believe children learn best through actual experiences, to this end we work on the principle of ‘learning through play’.
Our planning is based on the interests of the children, encouraging children to work towards the Early Learning Goals, as identified by the Early Years Foundation Stage.
It is our aim to maintain and develop the enthusiasm and joy for learning shown by young children, encouraging confidence and a positive attitude to learning.
"When you see me sitting in a chair
‘Reading’ to an imaginary audience,
Please don’t laugh and think I’m just playing
For, you see, I’m learning as I play.
I may be a teacher someday"

MY DAY
Is it so exciting in Preschool, there are so many things to do to get me ready for big school. I can play fun games on the computer and learn how to write my name.
There is a kitchen for me to play in and cook for my friends. I am learning my numbers from everyday play, from counting cups to working in the greengrocers shop.
My Keyperson plans special activities for me to join in and she always thinks of the things that I like to do best.
